single, not a single

single是一個形容詞，有“單一、單一、單身、單身、唯一”意義;not a single說“一個也沒有”，起到強調作用，位于句首時引起倒裝。如：remain single尚未結婚；the single person唯一的人；a single bed/ticket/man/room單人床/單程票/獨身男子/單人房

He didn’t make a single mistake in the exam./Not a single mistake did he make in the exam.他在考試中沒有出錯。
