自從我開始經歷考試以來，我最不相信的標準答案是英語。我總覺得答案和我想的有自己的優點（所有的問題都是中國人）。英語單選通常是一個理解問題。一般來說，這很簡單，但它仍然是錯誤的。現在，讓我的美國朋友Stephen告訴我這個問題選誰！

我給Stephen的E-mail

The other day I heard the news that the first group of Chinese tourists arrived in America.Maybe the limit of visa will be not that strict in the future. You'll see more Chinese in America.(聊聊中美新聞，呵呵）

We did our exam last week.I still could not understand one of the questions.

______the disaster,all the people were thilled.

A.Seeing b.Seen C.To see D.Having seen

What is the difference between A. and D..I think they feel like the same.Why?

That's interesting. I did not know that the first group of Chinese tourist had arrived here. That is good news. Hopefully it is the first step towards it being easier for the general public of China to come to the United States to visit. (總有一天會去美國)

I think A. and D. could both be correct answers in terms of gramar.

If you said A. "Seeing the disaster" it would imply that the people were thrilled WHILE SEEING the disaster.

However, if you were to say D. "having seen the disaster" it would imply that even AFTER seeing the disaster the people were thrilled that they had seen it.

I don't know if that makes any sense. I'm not so good about explaining that type of stuff it writting. (美國學生對母語的語法似乎很粗心)Hope it helped.

英語就是說的。適當的語法很重要，但我們不能在這里學習太多，讓英語學習占主導地位！
